Overview of Design & Installation.
Cowley Refrigeration’s Design and Installation projects include commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, engineering, air conditioning, heating and ventilating, scientific refrigeration equipment manufacture, the importation of refrigeration cabinets and equipment and the marketing of these products in New Zealand, the supply and construction of coolrooms.
Cowley Refrigeration can today undertake to design, supply, install, service and/or maintain a complete range of new or existing equipment.
Our Design & Installation Engineering Division
Is responsible for:
- Mechanical Design
- Electrical Design
- Schedules and AutoCAD drawing for manufacture and installation
- Builds major plant items such as rack system
Our Design & Installation Operations Division
Is responsible for:
- Project management including scheduling, costings, and documentation
- Supply chain management
- Logistic management
- Rack system fabrication
- OH&S management within the company
- After-sales support and services
- Training
Our Design & Installation Contracts Division
Is responsible for:
- Undertaking all major refrigeration installation work
- For both new and retrofit installations
- Undertaking projects
The Installation Division provides the necessary design for installation and carries out the installation of refrigeration cabinets, coolrooms, freezer rooms, and refrigeration plants.
Typical installations include a wide range of medium and low-temperature cabinets and cases, including Serve over cabinets, Produce Cabinets, a full range of Bakery cabinets. Meat and Dairy cabinets, Liquor cabinets and a full range of Frozen Food cabinets.
The Installation Division carries out the installation of various Mechanical Plants to run the refrigeration equipment and the installation of Pipework and drainage to run the equipment. The installation of insulated Coolroom and Frozen Food room paneling.
Typical projects range from full fit-outs for Supermarkets and Processing Plants for Meat and Fish preparation areas, to the Wine, Fruit, Liquor and Entertainment industries and Restaurant outlets.
Our HVAC Division
Is responsible for:
- Full in-house design-build for all HVAC projects
- Ability to manufacture “Custom built components” (air handlers, ductwork, kitchen hoods, etc.)
- Specialist installation and commissioning team
- Providing ongoing maintenance and service
